Merritt Chilton Korbar is a San Antonio based artist with clients ranging from the River City to Austin, Denton, DFW, Houston, New Orleans, and Los Angeles for over 13 years. She has also shown work that has sold to collectors at 300X Gallery in Dallas, TX. While attending UTSA, she participated in an internship at the San Antonio Museum of Art and co-founded the collective art group "Hijole SA," at Blue Star Art Complex where she was an active member for more than 2 years. In addition she was part of a team of students that painted the "Africa Live!" exhibit entrance at the San Antonio Zoo. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts in May of 2019 and has since been working as a contract painter and muralist for private residences and companies such as NASA, The San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology, The Wex Foundation and Fox Works. As the sole proprietor of Colorful Discord Designs, Merritt continuously maintains a high standard for punctuality, work ethic, and attention to detail and excellence in every project whether it be contract painting, custom design or murals.
